As pitchers and catchers continued to ratchet up their workout program in preparation for the rest of the team joining them, injury news has begun to trickle out of the camps. Here are your injury updates for the Los Angeles Angels.
- Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times says that C.J. Wilson has no limitations on him for spring training. Wilson had surgery back in October to remove bone spurs. When the procedure took place, there was little concern about Wilson pitching in spring. Now, with spring training around the corner, the Angels are happy to see that Wilson is having no issues.
- DiGiovanna also provided an update on Michael Kohn. Kohn underwent Tommy John surgery in April of last year. He is getting closer to being ready and hopes to earn a spot in the Angeles' bullpen.
Earlier we also provided an update on Ryan Madson. He has suffered an undisclosed setback in his recovery from Tommy John surgery. The Angels have had the unfortunate distinction of having the most injury news come out of their camp on the first day of pitchers and catchers reporting.
