The Chicago White Sox continue to be in the market for a
left-handed hitter, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com.
White Sox still looking for left-handed bat. Would probably be more of a complementary piece at this point.

Merkin adds that if the White Sox do eventually add a
player, he will probably be more of a “complementary piece” at this point.
The White Sox projected corner infielders and outfielders,
Paul Konerko, Jeff Keppinger, Dayan Viciedo and Alex Rios, all bat from the
right side of the plate. For this reason, Chicago would figure to want a
left-handed hitting option that can come off the bench every now and then.
There are several left-handed hitting free agents remaining
on the market, including Aubrey Huff, Bobby Abreu, Casey Kotchman and Johnny
Damon.
