Can you imagine the Detroit Tigers' offense had they had Victor Martinez healthy last year? Well, for 2013 you won't have to. After suffering a knee injury and undergoing surgery last year, Martinez missed the entire season, but he will be ready for spring training this year.
Jon Morosi of Fox Sports says that Martinez's agent expects the 34-year old to be more than just ready for spring training.
Update on Victor Martinez from his agent, Jose Mijares: "He will be 100% for spring training. That is really good news." @mlbonfox

The Tigers signed Prince Fielder when they learned of Martinez's injury, and the team managed to make it all the way to the World Series with Fielder playing first base. Now, with Martinez back, the offense will only get better.
In 10 Major League seasons, Martinez has hit .303/.370/.469. He spent the majority of his career with the Cleveland Indians before moving over to the Boston Red Sox and eventually the Tigers. With Detroit in 2011, Martinez hit .330/.380/.470. He is a four-time All-Star.
