The Cleveland Indians have expressed some interest in free
agent utility player Ryan Raburn, according to Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports.
#Indians have some interest in Ryan Raburn, source says. If he signs, minimum of 3 HR vs Tigers this year. #Inge-esque

Raburn had spent his entire professional career with the
Detroit Tigers before being released by the club in November. While he had been
a solid reserve player for the club, his numbers tailed off significantly last
season.
Over 66 games spanning 205 at-bats, Raburn only hit
.171/.226/.254 last year for the Tigers. While these numbers are ghastly, he
did hit 22 doubles and 14 home runs for the team in 2011 and combined to hit at
a clip of .285/.348/.498 from 2009-10.
During Raburn’s time with the Tigers, the 31-year-old has
manned every position but shortstop and catcher. Last season he played both
corner outfield positions and second base.
