The Toronto Blue Jays are seeking a late-inning reliever for
the back end of their bullpen, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. Heyman
adds that free agents Francisco Rodriguez, Matt Lindstrom, Matt Capps, Juan
Carlos Oviedo, Jose Valverde, Kyle Farnsworth, Brandon Lyon and Brian Wilson
are all potential fits for the Blue Jays.

Blue Jays’ relievers finished the 2012 season with the sixth-worst
ERA in the majors (4.33). They also threw the sixth-most innings and finished
in the middle of the pack in strikeout-to-walk ratio.
The Blue Jays acquired Sergio Santos last offseason from the
Chicago White Sox as a potential closer, but veteran Casey Janssen filled that
role for much of the season. Toronto also has Brad Lincoln, Steve Delabar and
Esmil Rodgers in its ‘pen, while it waits for a final decision from veteran
left-hander Darren Oliver.
