The New York Yankees did not make an offer to veteran
catcher A.J. Pierzynski before he signed with the Texas Rangers last night, and
the team is currently planning on going with three in-house options behind the
plate, Francisco Cervelli, Chris Stewart and Austin Romine, according to Jon
Heyman of CBS Sports.
