The Cleveland Indians continue to target free agent
outfielder Nick Swisher, who’s market could be shifting, according to Jim
Bowden of ESPN, and corner infielder Kevin Youkilis, reports Terry Pluto of the
Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Indians hoping to sign Nick Swisher for 4yrs $48-$50m...but market shift has him looking for 4yrs $60m

I checked on the report of the 2-year, $18M Tribe offer to Youk. It could be a little higher than $18M for 2.

The Indians are hoping to sign Swisher to a four-year deal
in the range of $50 million. However, Bowden notes that the market for the free
agent outfield has shifted, and the veteran slugger is now seeking something
closer to $60 million over four years.
Meanwhile, the Indians are waiting to hear from Youkilis
regarding the two-year offer they’ve extended him. While Cleveland is one of
the teams that has reportedly made Youkilis a two-year contract offer, Pluto
notes that it could have a total value of a “little higher” than $18 million.
