The Atlanta Braves are not expected to pursue free agent
outfielder Delmon Young to fill their vacancy in left field, reports Dave O’Brien
of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
For a reason(s) "@oobeau78: @ajcbraves what you think about delmon young for a year in left. No one else seems to want him."

O’Brien indicates there are multiple reasons why the Braves
and other teams haven’t targeted Young yet this offseason. While the slugger
was a former first-overall pick and has shown flashes of talent throughout his
career, Young carries with him character issues stemming from several events.
The 27-year-old spent the 2012 season with the Detroit
Tigers, hitting .267/.296/.411 with 27 doubles and 18 home runs over 574
at-bats while spending most of his games as the team’s designated hitter. He
owns a career line of .284/.317/.425.
