The Atlanta Braves have Los Angeles Angels outfielder/first
baseman Mark Trumbo on their radar, according to David O’Brien of the Atlanta
Journal-Constitution.

There have been reports that the Angels will trade one of
their extra outfielders, a group that includes Trumbo, Peter Bourjos and
Kendrys Morales, now that they’ve signed Josh Hamilton. While Bourjos is
reportedly more likely to be dealt than Trumbo, there is a feeling that both
can be acquired for the right player.
It appears that the Angels are targeting pitching for their
extra outfielders, as they’ve been tied to New York Mets right-hander R.A.
Dickey. The Braves have already traded one starter to the Angels this offseason,
right-hander Tommy Hanson.
Last season for the Angels Trumbo hit .268/.317/.491 with 19
doubles, three triples and 32 home runs over 544 at-bats. The 26-year-old owns
a career line of .259/.302/.478 over three seasons at the major league level.
